Credit Congress is the one opportunity each year to build and strengthen long-term relationships that will multiply your professional resources. Make the most of this year’s offerings and create new and profitable connections. Here are some wonderful avenues:

NACM’s Professional Designation Holders and GSCFM Alumni are sponsoring an evening event on Saturday, June 9th. Although hosted by the Designation Holders and Alumni, all are welcome to attend. An additional fee will be required to cover admission to the event and dinner. Please check back for more details on this gathering.

NACM is once again pleased to present a Silent Auction during this year’s Credit Congress. An exciting selection of items will be available on-site on which to bid. With each winning bid you’ll receive a unique prize and know that your contribution to the NACM Scholarship Foundation helps to make an investment in the future of our profession. If you are interested in donating an item for the auction, please contact the NACM Meetings Department.

NACM’s international arm, Finance, Credit and International Business (FCIB), will host its annual gathering for those involved in international credit on Monday, June 11th. John K. Walsh, Vice President and Country Manager: South Asia, The Middle East & Africa for U.S. Bank will speak on Global Markets 2007: The Winners and Losers. As the most important market in the world, any economic slowdown in the US has sometime dramatic effects on overseas markets. As 2007 progresses, what is the prospect for the US economy and how will overseas markets perform in response? Industrialized countries such as Japan and even parts of Europe have shown unexpected resilience, but many emerging markets show signs of stress and vulnerability. John will discuss major global trends and risks and will examine the prospects for countries and regions around the world including China, India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Russia and Latin America. To find out who will be the winners and losers, don’t miss this! A $60 fee is required.

The Credit and Financial Development Division (CFDD) will host its Annual Awards/Installation Luncheon on Tuesday, June 12th. Each year CFDD National and its Chapters award numerous educational scholarships for dedicated credit and financial professionals. Outstanding members and chapters are also recognized during this celebrated luncheon event. There is an additional fee of $55 to attend this luncheon.

The International Utilities Group (IUG), a group dedicated solely to utility credit and its role in the business environment, will kick off its 2007 meeting by hosting its Annual Utility Members Luncheon on Monday, June 11th. Members of the IUG are encouraged to attend to re-connect with fellow members and welcome new ones! A $55 fee is required.

So you like golf, but don’t play like Tiger? That’s okay! NACM's Second Annual Scholarship Foundation Golf Outing is for everyone! You’re invited for a day of relaxed, friendly fun… and all for a good cause!

The Outing will be held at Desert Pines Golf Club, two miles from the Las Vegas strip. Nearly 4,000 mature pine trees, imported white sand and abundant water features make Desert Pines feel like a course cut right out of the Carolinas. The outing will be a four-person scramble and will take place on Sunday, June 10th. The cost is $125 per player and will include transportation to and from the course, green fees, cart, prizes and concludes with an Awards Luncheon immediately following the outing.

All proceeds from the event will go to support NACM's Scholarship Foundation.
