How to Manage Letters of Credit—before they manage YOU!

Monday, December 5, 2005
3:00-4:00 eastern

Presenter: Madeline Sprague

Description:
Letters of credit can be an incredible credit enhancement and risk mitigation tool when properly used. But when they are not well-managed, they can become confusing, cumbersome, and actually increase transactional risks. This session will cover the common pitfalls encountered by companies trying to use LCs, and what you can do to manage the flow and process to obtain optimal results. We will cover commercial export LCs as well as domestic and international standby LCs. Attendees will also receive some practical, easy to use tools to assist in managing the LC process.
