Bio:
Fred Getz is the executive director of the Salaried Professional Service at Robert Half International (RHI), the world’s leader in specialized consulting and staffing services. Getz served as the president of RHI’s Accountemps division in the Detroit and Chicago markets for 11 years and has traveled extensively to train in other markets. In 1999, he developed and started the Salaried Professional Service for RHI to meet the needs of companies requiring rare skill sets for long-term needs as well as for accounting and financial professionals who desire a career working on projects for a variety of companies.

Getz has been active with the Illinois CPA (ICPA) Society and is a former president of the Chicago chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). Dedicated to advancing the profession, Getz has participated as a speaker for many organizations and at many events, including the ICPA Society, the National Association of Credit Management (NACM) and the IMA.

Getz graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a BS in Economics in 1972 and received his MBA in accounting and finance from the University of Cincinnati in 1976. Getz coordinated all services for the largest commercial accounts while with the Hartford Insurance Group and also received his CPA while an auditor with Price Waterhouse & Co.
