Columbia, MD: June 13, 2011-The National Association of Credit Management has recognized NACM Upstate New York, its Buffalo-based affiliate, as a co-winner of the Group Two Membership Award for fiscal year 2010. Both NACM Upstate New York and NACM Midwest-Wisconsin were honored during NACM-National's 115th Annual Credit Congress, which was held in Nashville, Tennessee, May 22-25, 2011. Both affiliates were co-recipients of the Group Three Membership Award for fiscal year 2009.
NACM Upstate New York is among the 46 NACM Affiliates located throughout the United States and in Puerto Rico that provide targeted, cost-effective receivables management services for credit and finance professionals. These services include credit reports covering both businesses and owners; collections resources; credit industry groups; and solutions for creditors working with financially distressed businesses, such as out-of-court arrangements, compromise settlements and liquidation.
As an award winner, NACM Upstate New York sustained the highest net positive growth in members among like-sized affiliates. Adolfo Lupu, regional manager, accepted the honor on behalf of the Buffalo affiliate.
